Comics

When challenged in middle school to think about our jobs in adulthood; I didn't know I wanted to be a writer. However, it felt fitting to me because I daydreamed frequently. I also liked to draw, so I decided to combine the two and become a comic writer.

Comics became enticing the more I interacted with the medium. I specifically grew up with the Japanese comic style called 'manga'. I found it more visually dynamic, not just with the art style, but with its paneling and effects. Every panel was distinct in some way that aided the setting, mood, and dialogue, influencing the story's flow and style and giving the manga a unique identity.

This symbiotic relationship style of storytelling strikingly intrigued me and cemented the comic writing medium as a practiced art in my life ever since. I became a cartoonist for my community college Wilbur Wright College, newspaper. Then shortly after launched my webcomic series, The Tricksters Abreast Tales.

The Tricksters Abreast Tales

'The Tricksters Abreast Tales' is an urban-fantasy ongoing webcomic series, on Tapas.iowhere the paranormal coexist with reality in an everyday manner. The story follows the mishap adventures of a human girl, May, who befriends a half trickster human shy-boy named Nathan. While a pair of governmental agents, David and Charles, handle severe cases that heavily involve the paranormal.

Just Another Apocalypse

'Just Another Apocalypse' is a post-apocalyptic comedy, taking place ten years after the initial outbreak. Fallowing 13-year-old Cole, as he ventures on a short solo-camping-trip for the first time.
